- 5:56make a motion to accept agenda let present I think the the only change is we're going to skip the first executive session and just have second executive session okay.
- 6:10second all in favor he old business old business.
- 6:27so we have is this yeah it's on we have the second reading of policy number 4772 which is the graduation ceremonies um these all of these policies that we're going to be reading tonight they're up for second read um they are required for yearly review and they have been given to us by nisba so there hasn't been any changes and so we just need to um possibly adopt them tonight if unless someone has questions or wants to discuss it um so we do have this second read for policy 4772 graduation ceremonies.
- 7:03I make the motion to if unless somebody has questions or comments I have a quick question so the it looks like paragraph one in graduation ceremonies is is changing uh it's going from a faculty selection criteria for speakers to a number of items um I'm not sure how it gets decided how they choose their speakers.
- 7:30how does the faculty choose your speakers no it's got so it's got options including selecting valorian salutatorian allowing the senior class to select speaker of their own establish a committee designate senior class president or allow senior class to choose someone from outside the school and given that we're putting options in there I guess is it the principal who's deciding is it the superintendent who decides or the superintendent doesn't decide I have nothing I just just everything comes out of the heist.
- 7:58yeah my assumption would be the senior class advisor would do it okay sure revise it to do that okay yeah.
- 8:32so we're going to hold that one and just make that yeah we'll vote on that we'll revise it and bring it for another vote.
- 8:55so the second read of 4773 diploma credentials options for students with disability any questions.
- 9:05so I make a motion to adopt uh policy number 4773 diploma credentials options for students with disability second all in favor.
- 9:18and for policy number 5500 student records and 5500r Student Records regulations any questions I make a motion to adopt policy 5 5500 student records and 5500r student records and regulations second all in favor.
- 9:45and policy number 5550 student privacy any questions um oh never mind the question was my own inability to read it says 5500 Z and then 555 Z corrected by just reading a second time um I make a motion to adopt policy 5550 student policy I mean sorry student privacy second all in favor didn't my hand.
- 10:25and policy number 8635 - R data privacy security breach and notification regulation any questions I make a motion to adopt policy number 8635 data privacy security breach and notification regulations second all in favor.
- 10:50and policy number 11120 School District records and policy number 11 120- R School District record records um sorry the first one is School District records and policy and the second one is one 12-r school district records any questions.
- 11:12do have a quick question um so I see we're appointing the Chief Financial Officer as the records access officer but it seems like it's been practiced that we're appointing somebody else in the district office into that position even under the previous policy which had the business administrator which was the old name of title is it Our intention that the CFO be the records access officer do we need to update our resolution from the or York meeting or um so it's just a contradiction of titles.
- 11:48well I no I think the in our reor meeting we appointed uh aoto as I recall as record access officer and we're going to need to update our resolution I guess if we're making a policy that CFO is the records access officer or do we just need to change the name in the policy you're saying so that it matches previously cuz that's probably the default from this but in there right now right yeah.
- 12:17is this 1120 or 1120 R sorry 1120 R sorry regulation okay yeah see.
- 12:37so I think maybe we can we can table that one that and just make sure we address that whichever way we want vote on the first one and table the second one that works I'm that cool okay.
- 12:51so we're going to make a motion to adopt policy number 1120 School District records and policy see second all in favor great thank you look here thank you Matt.
