  1. 0:02services meeting. So the um first thing would be for the seniors. So the base I it's very short report because there's not much to report. Uh there's no um director uh commissioner yet for seniors as that that I know of. uh the um the programs that they're offering is still the county programs uh majority and the only thing that is offered during the the day or some days is Zumba. Um and that's the only thing that's on this schedule. And additionally I I asked about data uh contact data data you know so if we had things to send out um and according to I think her name Reagan uh there's no database like emails you know so uh you know to get information out to
  2. 1:08people um so that's probably something that probably should be worked on that if somebody can sign up somebody signs up for anything. It should be some kind of database that they can be sent out like a newsletter or something about what's going on at the senior center. Uh the second part would be the survey. So I I kind of just did a really simple survey and it basically is about trans uh transportation uh to the senior center. And I think my my goal is to um drop them off or or have some kind of um outreach at the Bliss and Prominate >> uh Providence Hall and maybe the terrorist, right? Yeah. So, um you know, sorry. Turn on do not disturb.
  3. 2:18>> Um, you know, I got a I got something from New York City that that I have a ticket in New York City >> that you need to pay. >> Oh, yeah. >> Yeah. Really? I don't have a car license or I've never been to New York City. Go figure. And then the events happen. I it it they they said I I was I was default judgment on Monday. Uh so I have to call and pay my fine. Whatever. So uh so I'm thinking is there any thoughts on this? I mean this is just a draft but I wanted to keep it kind of simple. >> Yeah. Um >> are we when you say drop off you mean like drop off to apparently like to the office or to someone who can get the forms out? Well, I was thinking to talk to um um what's shook uh slips of mind uh at pro uh province >> um I can't remember her name sticks right >> yeah um >> and then they maybe talked to you know Jeffrey Dodson to see if but it's the so I'm wondering two things
  4. 3:23>> I'm wonder if it' be better if we each can plan a day to go and visit make and and kind of help them do the fill it out because I think that would be more >> um personable and then it might be an interaction. >> Yeah, >> sure. Rather than >> in a mail or drop. >> Absolutely. just go and say especially when there's only five questions >> especially if we uh go and you know you know we you know we know like I was thinking about crosswinds right just going across uh seniors there so um >> you know the goal is to I would love to target at least 50 servants right have 50 people I think that's a great starting point of the information >> so uh and and I think if we can talk to Elanor sayanor we you know, do you have because a lot of times what I did in M Beach, >> they have like different lunchions or something like that. So, they're there
  5. 4:24already. So, I just kind of showed up and kind of just did it. So, maybe I can talk to Elanor and see if we can find a day >> that we can kind of just spread out and do it. You guys are on board with it. >> Thank you. >> You know, so um and again, it gives us the opportunity to have a conversation with with people. U so that's >> it would be I'm sorry I need to cut you off I was just looking >> I would be probably interested to see what um ideas they can or any suggestions they have to come up with like things that they would like to do >> that's true >> while we're at it like let why why we have the top part of the survey as you know questions about what time would be best for you to get dropped off and picked up, right? But then the rest of it could be what are you most interested in learning? What things? >> See, that that's what I think it would be great for the dialogue, right? If we
  6. 5:26just bring some notes and just say, "So, you know, I noticed you like arts, right? This because, you know, because it becomes personal, right? Because some of you might like ceramics, right? Somebody might uh sewing or whatever, right? So um and and just take a little notebook and part of that conversation. Um because I I think that because more would be we could then bring that information uh to Rick Reagan and say where can we find volunteers with these? How can we access volunteers with these things that interest people to come? Right. So, um I I know one thing was always big uh was bingo. Uh and I think that the county Does the county do the bingo? >> Yeah, they did bingo on Tuesday. I think every Tuesday they do bingo. They're always playing games. The people that show up are doing the dominoes and the bingo is just a different game that they play once a week.
  7. 6:28>> That's what I'm saying. But I'm saying if somebody likes bingo and they're not going, well, you know, the county does, right? So, if we have the information that the county does. >> Gotcha. Right. >> You know, but um >> I mean that's just the thoughts. Otherwise, we can have a whole big list. >> Got you. No, no, this is more focused on transportation. So, yeah. >> Right. Okay. >> We But we need that list of what's actually happening because >> Yeah. Yeah. We don't >> Yeah. What the county's doing. Yeah. >> Yeah. Mhm. >> Because we've had that dialogue too. You >> ready for a straight thought from the public? >> Sure. Go ahead. >> If we Yeah, I know. If we had a transportation system that was more consistent and went both ways, you know, up and down both ways and wasn't an hour and 10 minutes between, you know, if we if we could find some money to fund something they could use that they could everyone could avail themselves of that. >> In addition, I know I know >> we know >> transportation is awfully expensive. >> Yeah, it is awfully expensive. After
  8. 7:30insurance and everything, >> you need grant money. Uh you have got to find the money. >> Yeah. I mean uh that would solve it. >> I asked the county about that in the meeting and >> gas shut down >> but but it depends on the need of the individuals right I mean I know gas is going to be an issue here but depends on the need of the individuals. I mean, we have um like one or two vans at the youth center, >> right? So, if they don't need accommodations, why couldn't we use the vans during the day? They're they're not being used uh you know during the day from the youth center. >> So, shared service shared service. Yeah. Right. >> Not a bad idea. Um yeah, see but um so um so that's basically you know again the senior center to me >> um it's untapped right in terms of and and and I think it's u because there's
  9. 8:35no one steering the ship right I mean it's it's not her job she's a she's a clerk typist so that's not even in her job description to do what needs to be done there >> um and if we have my question. I would love and you know to have some information. If they come for the county program, do they just leave after the county? Why? Why? >> Why? Yes. >> Right. Because there's nothing going on in the state for >> Yeah. >> Right. >> My darling personality. >> Yeah. Exactly. >> So, do do our seniors know are they aware enough of the county offerings to begin with? >> That's a good question. We don't even know. So >> let me assume no they show up and that's achievable objective is that if we help out what there's no database there's no nothing. >> No I hear that that you know I mean you know at what time do I ask this
  10. 9:39question? Why should we have a separate senior citizens department? Why don't we just pulse in and augment the county's >> department, right? I mean, >> devil's advocate, you know? I mean, >> unless we add value, unless we do something that's unique, this is where we start thinking about shared services, you know? I mean, it's a two-way street. >> Absolutely. Because we're paying for a staff for four hours a day to, you know, babysit a building, right? because the county's in there the rest of the day. I can talk to Nina Benonito and see if she has flyers that we can have of what's going on at the senior center. So when we do the surveys, we can bring them with us. >> Yeah, the news department. Great. You know, >> you have the newsletter. >> She has a county newsletter, right? >> So, um Yeah. >> And Nina is the person in charge >> of office
  11. 10:40>> at the county level. >> Yes. Yeah. >> And what's her name? Her last name. >> But here's some color on the whole county program. There are other places where they eat where they get, don't hold me to this number, 100, 200, 300 people. Here we get 20. So, >> well, I mean, I know Greenport doesn't have a set location. They don't have a senior set. So, >> I But I don't know. I think further I don't know but I've seen maybe I don't have the numbers right but I think there's like either chatam or some other places or or f further up north I think there's some scener where they do a really a much bigger job and you could we could ask Nina you know actually that's a good thing to like words in proportion in relation to all the other meals they provide >> right because they do film right they they do they provide ination >> they're like six location something like
  12. 11:42that >> I don't know more but I have the impression some of them do a lot more work >> I could be more >> again it becomes the location right >> the availability >> transportation if if they drive themselves >> right >> if they have support system that drives them >> right >> right so there's a lot of you know other components to this that's what I'm saying that if we have you know we have you know more than 50 or 60 available seniors that at least could take advantage of the senior center. The key is what is the barrier >> and I'm and I and I'm 99.9% it's going to say transportation. >> I guarantee >> and I think it was bigger years ago before co and they got a whole lot more more money seven eight years ago and it was a lot more action during the day. >> Mhm. >> Yeah. >> With that I'm going quiet. >> Okay. >> I'm just observing. Don't worry. >> Okay. Um, any other thoughts about about the senior center
  13. 12:49was at 6:00 p.m. >> He's he's blowing up right now. >> Okay. Daddy told you that's different. You went to the senior centers. How many were there? Okay. >> In the different towns. Yeah. Um, I've done four or five on that material. >> Yeah. They had a lot of lunch stack going on. >> And are these all branches of the county services or are they individual towns? >> No, but the county. >> They're whole county branches. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. The county oversees all the problem. >> Uhhuh. >> Through the office for the agent. >> Yeah. Let's share the way and let's start working with these guys. >> No. Yeah. I Yeah. You know what I mean? >> I would love to work with them. >> Yeah. >> I mean, they're using our location. >> I mean,
  14. 13:49>> you know, so >> should be working together. >> Yeah. like >> but I think that you know again if we're not offering anything after 1:00 what what's enticing them to >> you know sticker right >> I mean to me if they're there to the county after in the afternoon that would be a great opportunity to bring in information that was for you know whether it's about aging whether it's about insurance insurance whatever it is that would be a great time to bring in informational stuff, a speaker or whatever to deal with some of the stuff that's going on. >> Yeah. >> The consortium will be a great place to start with that. >> Oh, yeah. Absolutely. Yeah. >> And there's so many wonderful things happening. You know, the the library hosts so many different events anyway that if you know, they were worried about, you know, I even I don't like driving at night. Like I can't imagine if you were older and you didn't want to
  15. 14:53drive at night, but you wanted to stick around for some of that stuff, having having a way back and forth would be good. >> Yeah. Yeah, absolutely. >> Okay, looks like um you services. >> Oh, welcome Kevin. >> Good to see you. >> Okay, so we'll start with your reporting. So for April, it's a bit of a transitional period for us. Um just kind of coming coming off of uh the winter entering spring. And so uh with that, we're kind of shifting gears while we're still actively involved with um ASP. We're gearing up for Oakdale summer camp. And so with that, the prep is uh predominantly at the um Oakdale Beach House and just kind of bringing that up to par in regards to the um to the beach house to the different sheds for the different groups. Um and just yeah, just really knocking off the dust there and
  16. 15:57um getting us primed for uh opening of camp. Um we're also um with camp more specifically um we're accept we're still um accepting registration for campers counselors lifeguards um we have a logistical uh position as well and so those are still coming in. Um, as of today, we had 75 uh campers registered, um, a little over 30 uh, counselor applications and about 20 um, uh, lifeguard application. And so with the upcoming week being, uh, spring break uh, for most high schools, um, we're taking that time to dive into the interviews, um, to assess the different counselors, um, lifeguards, a lot of them are typically returning um staff. So we we have an idea of you know who we're dealing with and what they bring to the table. And so um nonetheless we
  17. 17:00use that again we use that duration of time to just kind of assess the different um personnel that we might on board uh for a camp season. And um we also um just also wanted to highlight our staff of the month uh Renee. Renee has been with us I think this June will make four years. Um Renee is a as a selfarter. Um she's kind of she's kind of a she she's my person that I can rely on to keep everyone on their toes. And so um I think we all can afford those people in our lives whether it's personally or professionally. And so, um, Renee has been doing that since she arrived, uh, uh, truthfully. And so, this month, um, she she was our staff of the month because we've also had, um, a staff member, uh, Bisham, he's been out for some medical reasons. And Bisham is our cleaner and he has a role to where um you may not really see the you may not really see what he does but you you
  18. 18:03surely miss him when he's not doing his you know his due if you will if he's not doing his job. And so um you know uh Renee kind of saw that early on and made herself available to say hey I'll flex my hours to kind of support that need. So, um she was certainly deserving of staff of the morning. And for our kids, we had uh three uh three uh winners for our students of the month. Um which I'll highlight uh later in the presentation. Uh Maline Weiss Rodriguez, she was our uh student of the month for our K through second group. Uh King Saiiah Shivers was our kid for third through 8. and Markeel Johnson was our uh teen of the month. And so here uh to the left you you have Meline, center is King Sia, and to the right is Markeel. Markeel is also a member of the uh boys varsity basketball
  19. 19:07team. And uh we are actually um putting on a uh celebration tonight um at the at the youth center uh blue hawk team party um again to celebrate their achievements and you know again just to show appreciation and recognition to our to our team as well. Um this was a video uh just kind of um highlighting uh an event that we did at the department yesterday and today um which I was having some uh some technical issues but essentially we put together a um egg hunt um at the department um again provided the time of of season and just as a um little fun activity for our kids to commit to. And so essentially what we did is uh every kid got a um a brown paper bag. They got to decorate the brown paper bag and
  20. 20:09while they were kind of off in the art room decorating that bag, staff were planting the uh the candy eggs around the new center. And once they were done um decorating their bag, we kind of opened the doors and they they swarm out and go by collecting the eggs. and uh had a few golden eggs in there. Those were, you know, probably the um most, you know, stuffed eggs with candy and such. And so it was a it was a nice little uh nice little event for the kids. >> Um this is overview of the programming that we've um continued uh going into the spring session. Um a lot of that is uh routine. Uh Sylvia Center is uh the cooking component. Mindlestead is the circus um component. Art with Joan um as described. Drumming is with um Miss Elena from Operation Unite. Um actually our staff they had fun with that uh program as well. And uh hiphop dance
  21. 21:12with Raz's uh dance studio. And so look out for our hip-hop dance group in the day parade. Um, traditionally we are in the parade and we intend to feature uh this dance group in that as well. >> Cool. >> And this is just a little um display of the um the uh art class with Joan. Um they've essentially turned wire uh into art. Uh so students are currently in the build phase where they're layering a plaster cloth over the wire frames. Um, and this process turns, you know, a flat uh drawing into a 3D sculpture. And so it just kind of showcasing the talents of our kids. >> Awesome. I still have my well nowadays is probably not my my ashray when I was I did a little mushroom and ashray autographs. Now I don't think they're doing astrays anymore.
  22. 22:16And so, uh, this was, uh, to highlight, um, the Polar Plunge, uh, over at Pokedale. So, that took place on March 7th. Um, and so this is, uh, been an annual event for a few years now. And, uh, it lends itself as a fundraising effort for three groups. Uh, youth center being one of them. Uh, the two others being the Hudson D team and Perfect 10. Uh this year we raised roughly 15 uh $15,000. So it's roughly five five grand per organization. Um and yeah, those are actual kids um you know in their their costumes getting ready to plunge and um some brave soul. >> Yeah, for sure. Yeah, they were for diving in there. Um but again I think it just lended itself to the to the love and and passion folks have for community. Um and for us it was an opportunity to kind of showcase the ability to collaborate with
  23. 23:19um other organizations as well. And um for us the funds that were raised we channel that back into the community by way of uh purchasing um essential equipment. And so last year we were able to purchase AEDs, for example, which are um essentially life-saving equipment in the event that someone has a has a heart attack or something to that effect. And so um that's usually the premise that we use when when utilizing those funds. We just >> ads at the camp and the you >> Yes. Y >> and there's there's certain people. >> Yes. All all of the lifeguards are versed in in using the AEDs and for each pod we have at least two staff um that that can utilize that push as well. And so, um, with the with the extent of our community, uh, engagement, uh, this coming off of last month, um, I think
  24. 24:22we're all, um, riding high, uh, with our Blue Hawks here with their their tournament run. And, um, for us, that was something that we, uh, were able to commit to by way of offering, uh, busing, whether it be to our members or members of the, uh, um, members of the community. And so, uh, essentially that's what we did. We, uh, wherever wherever the Blue Hawks were, the youth center, uh, followed. And so, uh, we were just proud and happy to to support our our, um, our guys, a lot of whom are members of the youth center. So, you know, naturally, it felt like family and, um, you know, we uh, more reason to to celebrate. That's why we're um again putting on our our event tonight to to highlight their success and to let them know that we see them. You know, they're they're doing the right thing and we always want to encourage that. And so this is the team, all of the team perhaps plus one. Got a little Bristol there. And uh that was at the youth
  25. 25:24center. My nephew's son, little Trey, I don't know if you seen him. TJ's son, he went to every game, even Bingham. They stayed overnight. >> Oh wow. >> And he's three years old. >> Wow. >> And so he was so so I got to talk to Sean and see if I can get a basketball sign. You give it to him because his birthday in two weeks. >> That was certainly something that um we talked about in house um with uh having the team signing the basketball. We have a kind we have like a display case at the center. >> Yeah. You know, capture this moment. I think it it's certainly historic. And uh furthermore, talking with um the mayor's office, um Mayor Ferris uh let us know that the team could then sign the basketball and send it to the um the history uh department, I believe, at the library. >> Yeah. >> You know, it'll become an archive, you know, in Hudson history. >> Talk to get one of the journals. >> Even better. >> Have all the players sign. >> Yeah.
  26. 26:28And uh as far as um again upcoming news, um we're getting ready for camp. Uh that is a big uh ordeal for us and we we take it very seriously and so we try to set ourselves up again to receive all of the applications um implementing all of the training uh and yeah, just making sure that we're we're are thorough about that. Something new this year that we're featuring with camp is before and after care. So that was in response to some of the feedback that we got from um uh camp families uh last year and the years prior. And so this will be a pilot for us. Um essentially uh before care will be from 8 to 9 and then after care will be from 3 to 4. And so it would be um essentially 50 bucks a week and then 25 bucks for each additional kid. And um you know uh if and so when advertising that we're we're hopeful that folks
  27. 27:33aren't discouraged because of the the financial component. There are we we do have ways to help families afford that fee um if it's if it's necessary. Um but again, this was something that we wanted to offer to the community provided it provided it was something that they requested. And so um again, it's it'll be a pilot for us. We're looking forward to to taking it on to support the needs of our families. When I was the camp director up in Renelia for the camp adventure, we did the same thing. But what we did was we had the pre camp the ear, you know, we start at 7:00 in the morning at at the boys and girls. So we had breakfast and everything and at and at quarter of, you know, 9 or whatever we hopped on the van and then we br >> you know so I mean that might be something because then you deal with you know rain and shine or whatever, right? So, you know, start, you know, it's great to have one location and then you
  28. 28:35move into, >> you know, bring them up to uh before it happens. Yeah, >> absolutely. But yeah, I'll definitely take that into consideration. >> Absolutely. >> Meanwhile, we also Yeah, we we do we're still going to feature um the meal component at camp as well, breakfast and uh and the lunch. figure out the alternative because you can't use the school for 80 days. >> Yeah. So, we're we're um Yes. So, with that, we intend to utilize uh three three spaces. One of which is the youth center um continue use at the library and uh we've gotten permission from um uh Hoffman over at the firehouse to utilize that space as well. >> Yeah. Yeah. Great. That's great. That's for rainy days. >> Yeah, rainy days. Yeah. And you know, last year was I think we had maybe two two rainy days or heat. I was say what about
  29. 29:39heat? >> That's I think that has been the beauty of Oakdale actually because we still we have we have shade, we have water, we have sprinklers and so um we're able to kind of weather no pun intended but kind of weather weather the storm there. So there's no certain like degrees of the temperature that you guys will be okay. Yeah. And so with that uh we try to be proactive and so in the event that tomorrow is going to be you know oneonone um you know it's like you know here's going to be our plan going to pivot to these um alternative satellite locations >> uh youth center >> finally it's going to be more than one day >> right >> absolutely >> certainly and uh this is the um uh Oakdale camber um flyer so this is what circulating Now, uh folks can scan those um QR codes to access either registration for camp and or before and after care. And then these here are our um flyers
  30. 30:48for the counselors, the lifeguard uh um sorry, the counselors, CITs, and logistics. And so we've uh made that available in three languages uh Spanish uh Bangla and uh English includes pardon our um so when you do the prep for camp uh do you do the checklist for the facility maintenance like I know there's something about the fence around the Um I was talking to someone about the fence around the rink or something for the >> Yeah. >> A hole or something. I had to mess it up or something. >> Absolutely. Yeah. Actually, we are um we are planning to uh myself, Commissioner um Darren uh Collins, we are having a a meeting with um uh Tyler from the W uh Tyler Pressman. >> Yeah. to meet uh ahead of camp just to
  31. 31:51do a full assessment of the grounds whether it be you know fencing or anything that might be hazardous getting ahead of that so that we could patch that up by the time camp kicks off. >> Yeah, you I just said flashback because when I was the camp counselor, I hope that Tyler was was one of the campers. >> I'm old. Well, help me out. I'm old. Like for me, I'm grateful because working with Tyler, working with Darren, they're all part of Absolutely. of community of camp. And so it's it's really great just to be working with folks that already get the gist and and have such a passion for the work. >> Next month, I'm going to try to see if I can get um Ally in Alli Ryan uh the one to do a presentation for you um for the one that has the camp in county. So she can kind of give, you know, even us a kind of understanding of what what's there, what we can offer, what what how you maybe fit it into something. Um,
  32. 32:55even it's for a day or whatever. Um, or the opportunity to get kids out in the city and into, you know, the the wilderness and, you know, have that kind of experience. >> Absolutely. I think that would be great. So yeah, looking forward to that. >> Cool. Looks like I have a question. Um, where do you stand in discussions around hiring the assistant? >> Yep. The assistant director. Yeah. So, it's active pursuit. Um, we've been having some correspondences with um the mayor's office and u we're um including Heather in that as well, provided it's a um financial um matter. And so, um we've had a few preliminary um conversations about that. uh um we haven't gotten to the point to where um it's been approved, but I think we're we're gradually getting closer, >> but because it's a former position, the job everything is there, right? The job description, everything for simple surface is there. So, you don't have to go back
  33. 33:56>> and do do that override. >> No. >> Okay. So, it could be just a provisional until it got you, >> which Yeah. which is more than more than likely to be a provision. >> Oh, yeah. It's quicker that way. This person is critical to the summer camp. >> Yes. >> And you get you're working on it right now, >> right? >> So, I mean, does this conversation need to be stepped up? >> Yeah. >> What would you consider a deadline to hire date in terms of not disrupting the roll out of of of this? I say June 1st without the last part, right? Because I guess you month into the >> Yeah, June one. June one, we could you could uh June one is uh >> reflex that. Yeah, that would probably be Yeah, the final >> that would be like the deadline. >> If if if I were your boss, you came to me and said you I'd say you're crazy.
  34. 34:59>> What are you doing? I mean, you know, you're going to say here it is, you know, and good luck, >> right? Uh but okay, June 1st is it, you know, that's your >> Yeah, June one. And um yeah, uh because you know, I think we have um I don't think it's a matter of like a lack of candidates. >> Um you know, I mean, I think it's just the the um the processes that we have to the position. >> Yeah. Yeah. should we take a position on this with the a statement, an endorsement, an urging to uh them if in fact this can happen that it happens sooner than later? >> Well, I think what we need to know is where they're at, right? Because if if if they're saying, you know, well, we need to find $5,000, $10,000 more, right? I mean that to me that's more of us saying we can release that or that works for us, right? We so we have to see where they're they're at in terms of
  35. 36:02because I'm thinking that hopefully they're taking that strategy of taking that wreck blending that salary into the more important position, right? Is that is that where they're headed? >> I think that was certainly a strategy. >> Great. So So I think that so there's a method. It's just the idea for us to say let's push its method. the sooner the better because it's going to benefit Calvin's going to benefit the program. Right. >> Well, as we were talking earlier before you were here, Calvin, we were talking about the seniors and um you know, the seniors don't have a commissioner, don't have anyone running it. It's only county run right now. None of us know what's going on in the county, which we have to rectify that for sure. Um uh but if we're not paying for that, why couldn't some of that money go to assist? >> Well, because everything's been budgeted already.
  36. 37:03>> Yeah. But they budgeted for having a a senior's commissioner, didn't they? >> Yeah. $1,000. >> Oh, okay. >> It's it's nothing. >> Um but what about someone to run the program? There's there there's no staff for that. It's never been a staff. >> It's never been >> No, it's always been Yeah. >> No, I I think that the they're getting closer to getting this position funded. I think that's where we need to make, you know, you know, some thoughts, our thoughts to Heather and and the mayor saying, "Listen, you know, we know how red tape is, but what's what's the holdup if if it's dealing with releasing $10,000, you know, whatever it is, uh, we got to figure out how to make this position happen sooner or later because it's not going to help the program. You know, even June 1st might be okay, right? But ideally,
  37. 38:06right, May 1st be wonderful, >> right? >> So, but that comes to getting to our desk sooner than later in terms of a resolution. So, I think >> why don't we write a resolution and try and talk about it at our informal meeting? Well, I think that where I think we should start maybe a conversation on the informal coming from, you know, our services that we need to see where we can move this forward that our target date would be I mean, let's be generous, right? No, no later than May 15 of hiring date, right? Because again, you're talking about interviewing, you know, I mean, cross your fingers that's, you know, in-house candidates qualified, right? So, that that's a help for Calvin, right? because that's someone who knows the program, you know, that knows the kids and you know, so but otherwise if it's just getting the funding well and if and if they're combining a position, if they're taking position that's already been funded for this year and they're taking that position and taking that salary and
  38. 39:09mixing putting that blending that into the assistant director position, what's the hold up? How much money are we? because that to me that seems what it is is to hold up with the money because we're going to eliminate the rep position. We're gonna we're gonna have the assistant director position which is which is a supervised position which is a professional position which is going to be the camp director I imagine. Right. Yeah. Right. So it it needs to be sooner than later. So I think we got to figure out how to approach. I mean I can make a phone call and say this is where we're at. Where are we at? The committee wants to know where we're at. We want something in front of us >> by what it's 20 what are we 20th this month? >> We want some kind of knowledge the 20 April >> 20th. >> April informal the day. >> Mhm. Because we we would like to have confirmation by you know you know by the formal if we can do this. I mean I if I if I would like to know the numbers
  39. 40:12because I have no problem and I know you guys probably have no problem signing on from sponsoring a resolution because there's no getting away from >> we're not this is I mean the whole contention is that we're you know adding but we're not adding position >> we're we're replacing it for a professional place a supervised professional position that is needed in the top >> right to supervise staff to supervise the kids and it's not discretionary. We have to do it. >> I mean, you know, absolutely. >> It has to be done. Do it sooner than later. >> Right. To your point, >> right? Yep. >> It's driving our heels on just the same thing driving our heels on the commissioner. Where's our commissioner? How's that helping us? I think that's another conversation. What's the commission for our our seniors? How can anything be done if there's no oversight? I shouldn't be I shouldn't be calling you. A commissioner should be giving us information, >> right?
  40. 41:13>> And so what's I I don't I mean trying we're doing our best. >> You should hear me. >> I mean I got I got old school ways of doing it, but I don't know. You got you got money? >> Oh, damn. We recorded earlier. these conversations out there, but we need to get it moving. It needs to be, you know, >> yeah, >> especially when you proposed an alternative, right? I mean, what else would they want, right? >> You gave them, you know, direction right now. So, but any any other >> You have my hand raised. >> All right. Go ahead. >> All right, Bill. Who's got the timer? >> Hello. We can't hear you. >> You're muted, Bill.
  41. 42:21>> It's two minutes, right? >> Yeah. Is he unmute on our end or is it >> No, I I allow him as microphone use. >> Mhm. >> We can't hear you, Bill. If you ask him a question. Okay. >> Okay. Any other questions in house or anything? Okay. If there's no other questions, can I get a motion to adjurnn? >> Hold up. Hook me up. >> Gotcha. >> Thank you. Second. >> Jenny says second. >> Thank you. Thank you. >> Thanks.
