  1. 0:00Terrific. Thank you for being um this is Um this is August 24th and will discuss it once we go through uh a Bernhaven, Tyler Cer, member
  2. 0:30Thank you all. Um, also in attendance is we always appreciate his uh support. Uh, um Dave Marston has tribute to the degree you'd like to. So, Um, the way this board is made up, um, Dave was an appointee of the common Margaret Morris is looking for a two people. I haven't gotten any anyone who's willing to participate, their name. week and a half or so ago, um the city SIB work for 2026. parcels uh bid items. Um I think there were 11 you know if if we have the money you
  3. 2:20be for these other two projects?
  4. 2:24Alternate. responses. us. Um this ourselves. Um see if there were any steps. and we have come up with uh uh to the board. Um hopefully if everyone that. Um and then I can uh present a reflects uh what we are proposing.
  5. 3:17Yes. you give us a an overview of the uh
  6. 3:27Yeah. So the city received five bids um pretty far away. I think that was a a year. They saying some of the online reporter. Um I mean locally we have a Trinity Construction which is I believe other two contractors I'm I haven't Olster Countyish and then Raja button county but I'm not sure um so yes bid docu or bid responses um and we do Um, and is there do you have a Frank Rosber? there's no there was no um errors or no um reason to omit that bid from a a
  7. 4:35work in the city before. An example is department on Union. They did some big reason to say that they would not be a
  8. 4:48Tyler, as a commission, are you
  9. 4:51Yeah, I think they did decent job last some stuff that cracked, but, you know,
  10. 4:58Um, but he was, you know, he was he got that came up, he was, you know, the fixed anything that we had an issue responsive across the board.
  11. 5:16Are they local or area. Um, so and and then talk about the
  12. 5:31Uh, do you want to be do you want to below low two? with.
  13. 5:4449 adding in the ultimates puts it up over definitely a high bid but I think that away things like that um Frank bid um alternates the alternates kind of lined Lisa they were within you know tens of base was slightly higher at the 550,000. reconstruction with the 600s as well as very similar in their ad alternates. up and out off of everybody else but I firm. the the one line item that really bumped demobilization for base contract.
  14. 6:46So, a lot of times that's where the from the site and the amount of effort There's a lot of equipment that moves that that's a a big part of the bid. Um that to be broken out. I mean other or some higher numbers to that as well.
  15. 7:12that's a lot of I say over profit as Um, further discussion points, I'd like to Rosberg in times. I I do ask some one a personal life and these are just when a contract is more than 10% contract yet and they usually are as to why they their bid is so low. My question. I guess it's more of a item number 10, how do we pay for is MPT for do they use the city their race guns and tape and because I mean they're they're really
  16. 8:33else, you know, I would throw Raja out high, but the rest of these guys are to it. Um, is so uh seemingly low. I mean sometimes Do we have any reports on them that you Tom you're comfortable in working with low. Oh, there's there's a big year we had they had to sit there and that was that kind of elevated the price here a lot of this work in the same area instead of having 10 different curb
  17. 9:39um you know at the same time like a generalization um sometimes you specific staff that are just for certain time while are there, you know, some and draw, you probably don't need the person and things like that. So, there's some contract as well. it seems low and I and I get it that side restoration number is like that that. what what is it what is the that would be like any incidental itself. But that's mostly we have the street. There's a curb ramp there last a slope at a top soil that you know just
  18. 10:39includes pretty much restoration within incidental stuff. I think there was also state that they came back and did all there for those things that aren't kind incident. the contract?
  19. 11:04So that's included in each. So if you
  20. 11:07Yep. each each item listed here has a that refers to any of the scope of work the black top the amount concrete sa uh that. So we broke that out and in the section on the description. I mean, it's because they're just they're they're restoration and their MVT not unreasonable. So, I'm okay with I'm So, any other comments or questions? So, favor of choosing uh Frank Vosber of
  21. 12:08I'll make a motion that we choose them.
  22. 12:10Second.
  23. 12:13I that number bumps up against what we have available. we should not say oh the funds will be Um, so with that said, again, three of week and um we came up uh that two items be dropped at this Street between Rope Alley to State some technical issues with that that need to be ironed out before we know how Street between Union uh to partition on Uh the two of those together is 75,100. Taking that off of the 349085 brings us to 273985. It that allows us $50,000
  24. 13:49starting to pay back uh the city. Um and good number from our standpoint. We want working capital. so any discussions on cash?
  25. 14:11No, I mean, I feel, you know, making installment payment back is a good, you the city. Um and also you know just done keeping the project moving and also battery is keeps everybody happy right funded
  26. 14:40so I we deliberately recommended going
  27. 14:46so that again having as much capital to Um, so can I get a vote on uh on that two items at this point in time? Um, and alternative category. number two, line item number nine,
  28. 15:16Second. Um, with that said, uh, I resolution. Um, um, in terms of what we've just received with you. I'd like approval on your part and I'm hoping to present it to the guarantee, but nevertheless, I'm hoping get it approved so they can um we can signature and we can get the work here. Just a quick note, I think the
  29. 16:23Oh, okay. Thank you.
  30. 16:26No, you're Yeah, this is you know why
  31. 16:30Yeah. And of course, we can space this
  32. 16:33work this way to fit it number with the blank next to it that the bottom three signatures for the approval. And I also request that we nine and to leave it on the side. So if for for whatever reason the full extent like what happened item number two and again. There was we had some we we
  33. 17:21I think I guess to George's question, if above that chart, it says it it's spells
  34. 17:32just above the chart stay away. saw that and that stopped me from asking So, would you like me to and we can comment on it or just read it
  35. 17:55I'm good with that.
  36. 18:00Okay. So we're looking at signature lines said spelling
  37. 18:47I didn't miss anything did I
  38. 19:14Sounds great. Thank you for putting this
  39. 19:19Yes, I read it. So, I just I just I'm
  40. 19:33I mean, I guess for for purposes of for the Put that on the um on the website.
  41. 19:48Very good. so that I believe is uh the amount of work. Is there discussing? your next contract amendment.
  42. 20:11No, I don't believe I sent I don't just had to change the date. I had to
  43. 20:18You'll see that for for the next step.
  44. 20:23The next meeting, right?
  45. 20:25We'll put that on the next meeting. we doing next meeting in terms of
  46. 20:33I think we I think it's already on the
  47. 20:36last Monday.
  48. 20:39See there. September 28th.
  49. 20:53Fantastic. Um, do we have a motion to
  50. 20:57Just a quick question.
  51. 20:59I didn't hear Tiffany's question about would that question?
  52. 21:08Okay. after this was still 450.
  53. 21:13Okay. And that in additional money was the year before. provided to the SID EVA stuff.
  54. 21:24Yeah. Gotcha. Okay. I'm quick question. question. What's the once you submit it attorney review and then we make an or what's the time frame for an award to
  55. 21:47Well, actually for be approved um the would suspect that before the mayor well. It could get bounced, but as soon it,
  56. 22:08it's moved on. The council doesn't have
  57. 22:13So, it goes to the attorney and then for approves it. When does how long does it contractor? Well, I I'm not sure what we once the mayor was ready, we then turned our subcontract. So, in typical fashion, the approval to award a contract is made send a notice of award, pretty much a contractor would then have to sign, insuranceances. And you know that By the time they get it notorized, most be then signed by the municipality. So there's a little bit of logistics that weeks of time, not months of time, but
  58. 23:15I'm just I'm just thinking of the season ground? actually talked about this separately, kick off. So, we're thinking October to get a bunch of storms or something it gets bumped to November. So, then you below a certain temperature at night, the optimistically it's starting in backup in the spring as soon as things
  59. 23:58depending on
  60. 24:00then we're rushing on this. Hopefully,
  61. 24:06We're hopeful to get, you know, to put October. would be would be ideal for us, but you back. Um, and then you know the good same area where in the past it was all
  62. 24:26You know we he can he can dig up and
  63. 24:31So we're hopeful to get, you know, all this year.
  64. 24:40Fingers crossed.
  65. 24:43And mother nature has not been kind to
  66. 24:46Yeah. questions from
  67. 24:54our guest is there anyone there?
  68. 24:57good. Wait.
  69. 25:01Okay. Motion to adjourn.
  70. 25:04Okay. All in favor? I
